Shipping Policy


Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1–3 working days. Orders are not dispatched on weekends or UK public holidays. During busy periods, processing times may be slightly longer, but we will always aim to dispatch your order as quickly as possible.

Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Once your order has been dispatched, delivery times may vary depending on the delivery service selected and your location.

Estimated delivery times:

United Kingdom: 2–5 working days after dispatch

International orders: Delivery times vary by destination and may take longer due to customs clearance

Delays caused by postal services, customs, extreme weather or circumstances beyond our control are not the responsibility of Smirk & Scribble.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and displayed before you complete your purchase. Prices shown do not include any customs duties, import taxes, or additional charges that may apply to international orders.

Order Tracking

Tracking information will be provided where available once your order has been dispatched. Tracking updates are managed by the carrier and may not be immediately visible after dispatch.

Customs and Import Charges

International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or import charges. These fees are set by the destination country and are the responsibility of the customer. Smirk & Scribble has no control over these charges and cannot predict their amount.

Lost or Delayed Orders

Smirk & Scribble is not responsible for delivery delays caused by postal services, customs processing, or events outside our control.
If your order appears to be lost or significantly delayed, please contact us and we will do our best to assist by investigating with the delivery provider.

Incorrect Address Details

Please ensure your delivery address is correct and complete at checkout. Smirk & Scribble cannot be held responsible for orders delayed, returned, or lost due to incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

Returns & Refunds

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants), custom products (such as special orders or personalised items), and personal care goods (such as beauty products). We also do not accept returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.


European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.


Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
